I work across product, software, data, and technical leadership. My background combines hands-on software development, product and team leadership, consulting, and research, with experience across startups, health technology, regulated environments, and data-heavy systems.

I’m particularly useful in roles that require both strategic thinking and practical execution: shaping products, leading technical teams, improving systems, and solving complex cross-functional problems.

I currently work across a small number of organisations in technical and product leadership roles, including:

    • PrecisionALS - Product and technical leadership for a pan-European academic research initiative to find effective treatment(s) for ALS.
      • Working across stakeholders, platform design, and delivery in a complex (research) academic and regulated environment.
      • Helped shape product direction, technical planning, and cross-functional decision-making.

    • LYQD - CTO for a digital marketplace for (Irish) whiskey casks.
      • Leading product and technical development across marketplace workflows, compliance-aware onboarding, and platform delivery.
      • Working across strategy, execution, and external partners to bring the platform to market.

Previous experience

Acquis BI — Head of Product/CTO, Health Feb 2021 – Nov 2023

  • Led product and technical work within the Health Division.
  • Oversaw the development of a Data Management Platform (EDC/eCRF) for a Stroke Management Study, in collaboration with notable institutions, to advance patient care in TIA and ischemic stroke.
  • Initiated and led the creation of new products leveraging Acquis' existing technology stack, including a Clinical Trials Platform, ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and other frameworks.
  • Successfully directed the ISO27001 Certification process, reinforcing the company's commitment to data security and regulatory compliance.
  • Fostered strong relationships with stakeholders and customers, ensuring product developments aligned precisely with their needs.
